Back to Blogging

So I am fairly new to the world of blogging and how it can help me get noticed on the web, but I have been told so many times that it's just one of many ways to get out there, I decided to stop fighting it and start writing it!

I have been very busy setting up my ad for getmarried.com where I will soon have a listing. I think it's going to look pretty good. I took many photos of my work and wrote my bio/company description. Lots to do and not so much time to do it.

The other major activity that has been taking up so much of my time is cleaning my office. It took 3 days, but it's so nice in here now. I even found tools I forgot I had. For instance, I found my "card-it" tool that allows me to make slits in a card that perfectly, professionally and easily holds a business card! It's very cool. You write a thank you to a customer and you enclose your business card, but instead of it floating around loosely in the envelope, it's safely tucked inside the card. Fabulous! I also found about 300 sheets of different colored card stock. Enough to make so many different samples...the possibilities are endless.

I recently purchased a scoring tool. It's huge and takes up an entire shelf in my office. It's great though. I can make fold over cards that look great and the score is there to make sure the fold is nice and easy. No more crooked cards :).

My next purchase is going to be a new computer and I am thinking about getting a Mac. Anyone out there have any thoughts on that? I have always been a PC but I know I belong on a Mac. When I make that purchase I am going to follow it up with a newer printer. My xerox phaser is great and I love it, but I have found some limitations when I use stardream type card stock. So a laser printer is definitely in my future. Any thoughts on that one?

Alright, it's time to head to the school to pick up the kids. I am going to keep thinking about interesting things to write here. If you have any suggestions or questions, send them over and I will have a topic!

Thanks everyone.
